Even Rockstar has their take on the moon theories.

GTA 6: Rockstar comments on some of the theories the community is sharing

The first anniversary of the Grand Theft Auto VI trailer is upon us. Prior to its appearance, fans began to come up with theories based on Take-Two’s earnings calls, simple hunches, or supposed clues the company left on its social media. However, Rockstar has always shown that they are in control of the situation, and none of the hunches or theories ended up coinciding with the release date.

However, and after not knowing anything about the title, the community has continued with their theories, the most recent, returning to a possible clue around the moon in one of the last announcements they had on social media. Something that time has once again made clear that they were wrong.

But what do people inside Rockstar have to say about all these ideas? A few days ago, a user on X (formerly Twitter) asked Ashley Winstead, who works at Rockstar Games as a production coordinator, what they say internally about all the theories about the game that live on the Internet. Sure enough, “get a good laugh” is one of the answers we expected.

“I try my best to stay off GTA reddit and Twitter but every once in a while I get sent something from a friend and get a good laugh out of a post,” Winstead wrote on her Twitter account. It is worth mentioning that the SubReddit dedicated to GTA is one of the most active, with about 1.1 million users, and where a lot of theories about the game come from.

When will the new GTA 6 trailer be released?

In a recent article, and seeing the trends that Rockstar has had with their recent releases, we came to the conclusion that we could see something new about this game after the first anniversary of the first trailer. Considering that with GTA V it was 1 year and 13 days, we can expect something similar. Or in the end, no. Rockstar will let us know when they have something to show us.
