Invincible Season 2, Part 2 is coming back to streaming very soon, and now Prime Video has just released a new trailer giving us a glimpse of what’s to come for Mark Grayson, the Guardians of the Globe, and Omni-Man. Hint: it involves more alien invasions, and plenty of gore.

Season 2 Part 2 of Invincible will have four episodes in total, just like the first half of the season, with a new episode releasing weekly on Prime Video. As mentioned previously, the new episodes will begin releasing on March 14, picking up right from when Episode 4 left off, with Mark having to go back up to space to slow down a mind-controlling alien invasion while the Guardians on Earth have to continue defending the planet from whatever shows up. The trailer showed the return of a specific villain from season 1 with the ability of traveling through dimensions, and it seems like Omni-Man is facing the consequences of his escape from Viltrumite responsibilities.

Invincible will continue, for a long time

The first part of Season 2 premiered on November 3rd of last year and showed its first glimpse at New York Comic Con 2023. The first half of the season came with a total of 4 episodes that showed us Mark Grayson recovering from the traumas of the Season 1 finale, rebuilding his life as a teenage high school graduate moving away to college with his girlfriend, but also trying to balance his life with the need to become a superhero again, both on Earth and in other worlds.

Based on the groundbreaking comic book by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley, which, by the way, celebrates its 21st anniversary today, Invincible tells the story of Mark Grayson, son of superhero Omni-Man, who, like his father, possesses otherworldly powers. Academy Award winner J.K. Simmons and Academy Award nominee Steven Yeun headline the voice cast, which also includes Sandra Oh, Zazie Beetz, Gillian Jacobs, Jason Mantzoukas, Zachary Quinto, Mark Hamill and Walton Goggins.
