May’s PlayStation Plus Extra & Premium lineup is packed with RPGs

Sony has unveiled the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium lineup for May 2025, and it’s a great month for RPG fans. Whether you’re looking for turn-based battles, supernatural mysteries, or high-speed combat, this month’s selection delivers some standout titles.

Starting May 20, Extra and Premium subscribers will get access to nine new titles, including:

May’s PlayStation Plus Extra lineup

  • Sand Land (PS4, PS5) – An action RPG based on Akira Toriyama’s manga, featuring vehicle-based exploration and fast-paced combat.
  • Soul Hackers 2 (PS5) – A cyberpunk JRPG with demon summoning mechanics, developed by Atlus.
  • S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy (PS5) – A remastered collection of the classic survival horror FPS series, featuring enhanced visuals and gameplay improvements.
  • Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising (PS5, PS4) – A fighting game with RPG elements, featuring simple controls for newcomers and deep mechanics for veterans.
  • Battlefield V (PS4) – A World War II shooter with large-scale multiplayer battles.
  • Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted – Full Time Edition (PS5, PS4) – A VR-compatible horror game featuring classic and new Five Nights at Freddy’s mini-games.
  • Humankind (PS5, PS4) – A historical strategy game where players rewrite human history by combining different civilizations.

Premium subscribers will also get one new classic title:

  • Battle Engine Aquila (PS4, PS5) – A sci-fi action game where players pilot a mobile war vehicle, battling enemies on land and in the air.

May’s PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium lineup is stacked with RPGs and action-packed experiences, making it a great month for fans of immersive storytelling and fast-paced combat.
