Yesterday afternoon was the PC Gaming Show: Most Wanted, an event where we saw updates and details on the most anticipated PC games coming in 2024 and beyond. And one of them is a title that has Xbox Series XS and PC gamers on tenterhooks: Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, the open-world action-RPG developed by GSC Game World. A long-awaited return, as it is a cult saga and more than 13 years have passed since the release of Call of Pripyat.
If you are one of those who have written it down on the list of most anticipated games, we have fantastic news for you, because GSC Game World has confirmed that it will arrive much earlier than expected: in the first months of 2024 (between January and March). To celebrate this announcement, it has released a new trailer with gameplay that removes any doubts about a tortuous development that has had to overcome many obstacles (mainly the ongoing war in the region) and was scheduled for release this year.
One of the most anticipated games on Xbox
Stalker 2 will be available on Xbox Game Pass (for Xbox Series X|S and PC) from launch day and is part of the huge list of releases Microsoft has planned for the future, both in 2024 and 2025 and beyond. Fable 4, State of Decay 3, Perfect Dark... A series of highly anticipated titles, among which, besides the aforementioned Shadow of Chornobyl, one of those that will arrive sooner rather than later will be Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, which has had a very long development since its announcement.
