This year’s Pokémon Presents announced for the celebration of Pokémon Day 2025

The Pokémon world has a date next week to learn about new news related to all things Pokémon Company.

This year’s Pokémon Presents announced for the celebration of Pokémon Day 2025

It’s been an open secret, but now it’s official: next Thursday, February 27th, there will be a new Pokémon Presents to celebrate Pokémon Day. Details are scarce at the moment, but we know we’ll have to get up early to find out what new Pikachu and company have in store for us.

The event will begin at 9:00 a.m. ET and will be streamed via the official Pokémon YouTube and Twitch channels. No further details have been given as to what might be announced, but... we can speculate on that in a moment.

When will Pokemon Presents 2.27.2025 kick off in the United States?

We’ll have to get up early, at least on the West Coast, to catch this Pokémon Presents. Below is the schedule for when it will be available in the United States:

  • 9:00 AM ET
  • 8:00 AM CT
  • 6:00 AM PT

What can we expect from Pokémon Presents on Pokémon Day 2025?

While the only game for certain is Pokémon Legends Z-A, the new installment in the Pokémon Legends series, rumors are also pointing in two directions. On the one hand, there is talk of remakes of Pokémon Black and White. There are even some details circulating about them. That they would have the routes of Pokémon Black and White 2, that they would include all Pokémon from the first to the fifth generation (with new forms and evolutions), that there would be compatibility with Pokémon Scarlet and Violet for battles and trades, that there would be terastallization, that there would be two DLC… It sounds too good to be true.

On the other hand (and more imaginatively, if possible), the existence of two compilations of the first three generations was hinted at. One would be called Pokémon Memories and would contain Red, Gold, Ruby and Fire Red, almost nothing. The other, called Pokémon Reminiscence, would apparently include Blue, Silver, Sapphire and Leaf Green. Hearts flutter and wallets shake. Of course, these revelations are mixed in with many others, such as the arrival of Crystal and Emerald on Nintendo Switch Online, so maybe it’s something in between.

Anyway, there are plenty of other reasons to watch Pokémon Presents, such as curiosity to see if Nintendo Switch 2 will be mentioned in any way, or the presentation of Dragonite and the Postman, the new movie in the franchise. We certainly don’t want to miss it, so we’ll be waiting for you here on February 27th for a very special live show.
