Will There Be A Season 2 Of The Last of Us On HBO? Bella Ramsey (Ellie) Talks About It
We're only 2 episodes into season 1, but the series based on Naughty Dog's game is a smash hit and Ellie's actress is already talking about the future.
People are naturally impatient; when we like something, we want more. This is probably the case for the millions of viewers of The Last of Us, the HBO series of the moment, who have wondered if there will be a second season. It is the same question the BBC asked Bella Ramsey, the actress who plays Ellie, one of the main protagonists.
Her answer is very hopeful, as the British actress suggests that everything depends, besides HBO itself, on the success of Season 1: “If people keep watching, I think [a second series] is pretty likely. It's down to the guys at HBO. There's nothing confirmed yet so we'll have to wait and see," she explains. And of course, considering that the series is breaking ratings records and even causing sales of the games to skyrocket, we can assume that the first part of his answer has already been more than fulfilled.
