According to Dominican journalist Mike Rodriguez, who closely follows Soto’s career, the Red Sox are reportedly offering an unprecedented deal.

The reported offer is for a 12-year contract worth approximately $50 million per season, a monumental investment in MLB terms.
“The player spoke with Rafael Devers for over an hour about the team (Red Sox). There’s a 12-year offer for around $50 million per season, and Juan Soto is interested in the idea of joining the Red Sox. They are currently a strong contender for the outfielder,” the report states.
