These are all the official hats of the 20 national teams at the 2023 World Baseball Classic

The hat that players have atop their heads in a baseball game, is as much a part of their uniform as the shirt and pants they wear. Indeed, some might argue it is the uniform, with the team’s logo and colors emblazoned for all to see. With that in mind, it’s always interesting to see how teams choose to represent themselves. Even more so in an international tournament.

The field is now set in the 2023 World Baseball Classic and it’s safe to say we know the teams that will be among the favorites. From the talent factory that is the Dominican Republic, to the technical prowess of Japan. We’ve also got Mexico which knows a thing or two about the diamond and so too does Puerto Rico. Last, but definitely not least, we’ve got the perennial powerhouse and reigning champion United States. Yet, it’s not just about the rosters, is it? With national pride at stake, this tournament is as much about a representation of culture and identity through sport, as it is about winning.
