When does the 2023 Little League World Series Start?

The 2023 Little League World Series is scheduled to take place from August 16th to August 27th. Williamsport will host the 2023 tournament, as it has been for all previous Little League World Series editions.

The competition will take place at two adjacent venues: Howard J. Lamade Stadium and Volunteer Stadium.

In 2022, the Little League World Series implemented a new 20-team bracket, which differs from the previous 16-team format. The U.S. side of the border has two additional regions, namely the Metro and Mountain Regions. However, the situation on the international side is more intricate.

In the current rotation, Cuba, Panama, and Puerto Rico are involved in a process in which each is granted automatic bids. At the same time, the remaining team participates in their respective regional tournament. The 2023 tournament will feature automatic bids for Cuba and Panama. In 2023, Puerto Rico participated in the Caribbean Region competition but unfortunately did not qualify for a trip to Williamsport.
