Who is singing the national anthem for game 2 of the MLB World Series?
After that powerful Brad Paisley performance of the National Anthem ahead of the Yankees vs. Dodgers Game 1, who will be the Game 2 entertainer?
Dodgers Stadium was packed to see the rival franchises meet on Friday. With pitcher Jack Flaherty facing Yankees sluggers Aaron Judge, Juan Soto, and Giancarlo Stanton, and Gerrit Cole pitching against phenom Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts, and Freddie Freeman, the stage was set for a great game.
In the end, Freddie Freeman hit the first game-ending grand slam in World Series history with two outs in the 10th inning to give the Los Angeles Dodgers a 6-3 victory over the New York Yankees in a dramatic opener Friday night.
But before the action packed Game 1, singer songwriter and Dodgers all-star fan, Brad Paisley, brought the house down with this exquisite National anthem performance.
Who will sing “Home of the Brave...” in Game 2 of the 2024 World Series?
A 19-year-old woman from Sequim, Pearle Peterson, will perform the National Anthem before Game 2 of the 2024 World Series.
This marks her second time singing at Major League baseball events. Major League Baseball selected her as the Youth Performer representing the Boys and Girls Club of America in Game 2 of the 2023 World Series
Peterson grew up in Sequim, where she participated in school musicals and performed at her local Boys and Girls Club. She is currently attending the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she is studying lyrical theater and working toward a bachelor’s degree in music arts.
The Los Angeles Dodgers will play the New York Yankees in Game 2 of the World Series on Saturday, Oct. 26, at 5:08 p.m. ET at Dodgers Stadium.
