Japan were crowned champions in the 2023 World Baseball Classic, in an tense finale, after defeating Team USA 2-3 at LoanDepot Park in Miami on Tuesday night.

Among the star performers in this edition of the WBC were Japan’s Shohei Ohtani who picked up the MVP award and features in two positions in the World Baseball Classic 2023 Team (Designated hitter and Pitcher).
