2026 NBA All-Star Saturday schedule: How to watch the KIA Shooting Stars, 3-point and AT&T Slam Dunk contests
A classic contest returns to center stage at All-Star weekend – but the league has reshaped its formula.

Once again, the NBA All-Star weekend is here. This season marks the 75th edition of one of the most watched events in global sports. It will take place from Feb. 13 to 15 at the Intuit Dome, home of the Los Angeles Clippers.
Farewell to the skills challenge
Unlike recent years, the skills challenge will not be part of this year’s program. After a decade on the schedule, organizers have opted to bring back Shooting Stars, a competition that ran until 2015, when it was replaced by the skills event.
In last year’s skills contest, Chris Paul and Victor Wembanyama attempted to exploit what they believed was a loophole in the format and were ultimately disqualified. The episode, widely criticized and poorly received by the league, paved the way for Shooting Stars’ return. Even so, the revived contest will not look exactly as it once did.
Shooting Stars format and participants
In this new iteration, each of the four teams will feature two current NBA players and one former star, removing the mandatory inclusion of a WNBA player that defined the original format. The structure of the competition, however, remains unchanged.
Shooting Stars unfolds in two rounds – a qualifying stage and a final. In the opening round, teams compete one at a time and have 1 minute and 10 seconds to score as many points as possible from seven designated shooting spots on the court. Each of the three players must make a shot before moving on to the next location. The two highest-scoring teams advance to the final, where the same process determines the Shooting Stars 2026 champion.

Teams and lineups
Each of the four teams pairs two active NBA players with a legend. The lineups are as follows:
Team All-Star: Scottie Barnes (Toronto Raptors), Chet Holmgren (Oklahoma City Thunder) and Richard Hamilton (legend)
Team Knicks: Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns (both of the New York Knicks) and Allan Houston (legend)
Team Cameron: Jalen Johnson (Atlanta Hawks), Kon Knueppel (Charlotte Hornets) and Corey Maggette (legend)
Team Harper: Dylan Harper (San Antonio Spurs), Ron Harper Jr. (Boston Celtics) and Ron Harper (legend and father of both)
How to watch NBA All-Star Saturday in the United States
Fans in the United States can tune in to NBA All-Star Saturday on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14, at 5 p.m. ET. The event will be held at the Intuit Dome and will air live on NBC, with streaming available on Peacock.
All-Star Saturday brings together the league’s biggest names for three high-energy events, making it one of the most anticipated nights on the NBA calendar each season.
