On Tuesday night LeBron James grew his already sizeable legacy and wrote his name in gold letters in the history books of the NBA. The legendary American basketball player of the Los Angeles Lakers surpassed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s point mark and thus set a new league record.

LeBron only needed three quarters of the game against the Oklahoma City Thunder to establish himself as the top scorer in NBA history. The entire Crypto Arena paid homage to ‘King’ James, who was immediately recognized and took the souvenir image next to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar himself.
