Caitlin Clark’s dazzling Prada-clad look in support of her teammates at the WNBA All Star Game
The WNBA All-Star weekend was staged at the Gainsborough Fieldhouse, home to the Indiana Fever and Clark.
The WNBA All-Star Game in Indianapolis had a key absentee with point guard Caitlin Clark ruled out earlier in the week due to injury.
In a statement released through the Indiana Fever’s social media midweek, Clark announced that she would not be participating in either the WNBA All-Star Game or the Three-Point Contest, citing the need to rest her body. The guard suffered a left groin injury in a recent game against the Connecticut Sun but said she still planned to be part of the festivities.
“I’m incredibly sad and disappointed to announce that I can’t participate in the 3-Point Contest or the All-Star Game,” Clark said. “I have to rest my body. I will still be at Gainbridge Fieldhouse for all the action and I’m looking forward to helping Sandy coach our team to a win.”
Clark wears Prada
Despite not participating in the on court action, Clark still managed to generate headlines over the weekend with her outfits.
On Friday she donned a sharp black blazer over a crisp white button-down coupled in a Prada graphic tee tucked neatly into structured black shorts. A wide belt with a square pouch detail cinched her look together, and she completed the ensemble with black pointed-toe heels.
The following day, Clark added another Prada entry to her growing off-court fashion record, this time stepping into sculptural ivory slingbacks for the Glamour x Lilly All Star Celebration in Indianapolis.
The Indiana Fever player joined Glamour editor-in-chief Samantha Barry for a panel discussion on Saturday, seated center stage in glossy patent leather pumps by Prada.
Prada made history by dressing Clark for the 2024 WNBA Draft, marking the first time the luxury brand had ever dressed an NBA or WNBA player for the draft. She has continued to wear Prada for various events and games, and has expressed that Prada has become her favorite brand. It’s a significant collaboration that highlights her growing influence in both sports and fashion.
