Cooper Flagg delights fans with recent comments of Mavs’ revival: “Just having fun”
The rookie is turning heads all across the NBA with a string of sensational performances.

Hope, the currency of sports fans, is flowing at levels so dangerously high that they may well be led to believe that something could happen this season. Dallas is the scene of something like a basketball revival, with a team of top talent showing their worth in the NBA.
While the Mavericks are not top or even close, the feelings are positive around town, especially with No. 1 Draft pick Cooper Flagg leading the line for the side.
The youngster is in stunning form, and has been putting on show after show for fans in the stands. In their 131-130 win over the Denver Nuggets, Cooper put up the best long-range shooting performance of his spectacular rookie season. The youngest player in the league, Flagg is also 5-of-7 from 3-point range in the two games since he turned 19 on Sunday.

“I’m at my best when I’m having fun”
Flagg put up 33 points on 14-of-21 shooting, including a season-high four 3-pointers. “I had my birthday. I’m 19. I’ve only missed like one 3 since I turned 19,” he said in the aftermath.
He admitted that he was “just having fun,” in his new role with the Mavs. “I think I’m at my best when I’m just playing free and having fun.”
On his clinical mentality with the ball in his hands, Flagg admitted that his secret was “just being confident,” adding that one must also “trust the work, trust the reps.”
Opponent on the night, veteran Nikola Jokic, said that the 19-year-old “was definitely a hot hand out there.”

He explained that “I’m going to say the poise that he played with, he doesn’t feel like he’s so young out there. He seems like he played meaningful games and he was winning before. That’s my opinion. He looked really mature out there.”
