As we approach the highlight event of the summer, the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023, national federations from qualified nations have initiated the unveiling of their player rosters.

The FIBA World Cup, featuring 32 teams from across the globe, is set to start on August 25. The Dominican Republic will enter the competition with its 12-player roster. In this edition, the Dominican Republic finds itself placed in Group A alongside Angola, the Philippines, and Italy.

Group stage matches are set to kick off at the Araneta Coliseum in the Philippines. The victor and the runner-up of this initial round will advance to the second phase, where they will contend against the leading two teams from Group B.
