It was another disappointing loss for the Los Angeles Lakers when they lost to the LA Clippers 103-97 in their home opener on Thursday.

The Lakers saw some terrible shooting performances, led by point guard Russell Westbrook who shot 0 for 11, followed by Patrick Beverley (1 for 7) and Kendrick Nunn (0 for 7) who both made their Lakers home debut.

Lonnie Walker led the scoreboard for the Lakers by delivering 26 points. Anthony Davis scored 25 despite getting hurt after crashing to the floor in the middle of the game, while LeBron James contributed 20 points and 10 rebounds.

Great numbers by Juan Toscano-Anderson

Small forward Juan Toscano-Anderson came off the bench to deliver numbers that were higher than usual.

He played for a total of 22 minutes and brought in eight points, four rebounds, three assists, and one steal.

After such a bad shooting night, Westbrook was understandably disheartened, but Toscano-Anderson showed that he had his teammate’s back.
