We are just days away from discovering the fate of the young college players hoping to be selected in the 2024 NBA Draft. With only 58 picks available, they aspire to become the next stars in the world’s premier basketball league. The names will be announced on June 26 and 27.

Where is Bronny James going in the 2024 NBA Draft?

Bronny James is one of those hopefuls, and he declared for the 2024 NBA Draft a couple of months ago, despite having just one year of experience with the USC Trojans in the NCAA. His agent, Rich Paul, confirmed that Bronny has been working out with both the Los Angeles Lakers and the Phoenix Suns.

During his first season, the eldest son of the legend that is LeBron James played in 25 games, starting in six of them. He averaged 19.4 minutes per game, posting averages of 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists, with a shooting percentage of 36.6% from the field.

Lakers remain favorites for Bronny

The Lakers hold the 17th and 55th picks in the draft, positioning them to potentially select Bronny James and reunite him with his father, LeBron, although that in itself could be complicated. Meanwhile, the Suns have the 22nd pick, having lost their second-round selection due to an NBA penalty for illegal tampering in free agency.

According to DraftKings Sportsbook, the Lakers are the frontrunners with +110 odds to draft Bronny. The Phoenix franchise follow with +700 odds, while the Toronto Raptors, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Dallas Mavericks are all tied at +900 odds, rounding out the top five potential destinations for the eldest son of ‘King’ James.
