Caitlin Clark, the rising star of women’s basketball, has captured the hearts of fans with her incredible skills on the court. Clark’s journey began at Dowling Catholic High School in West Des Moines, Iowa. She was named a McDonald’s All-American and rated the fourth-best player in her class by ESPN. In her sophomore season, Clark became the first women’s player to lead Division I in points and assists. Her unanimous first-team All-American status solidified her place among the elite

But what about Caitlin’s physical attributes?

Height:

Caitlin Clark stands tall at 6 feet. Understandably, her height gave her an advantage over regular NCAA Women’s Division 1 guards, who usually stand at around 5′8″. That’s to say that while she may not be the tallest player overall, her height did place her among the taller guards in the league.

Weight & Shoe size

Clark weighs approximately 150 pounds. Her weight allows for lightning-quick foot movement and flexibility on the court. As she transitions to the WNBA, she may need to gain more strength to handle the relentless contact at the perimeter. Of course, given the debut she had with the Fever - a preseason loss to the Dallas Wings - in which she scored 21 points, it’s clear that she can hold her own.

Clark’s shoe size is hard to determine as they change depending on the brand she wears. Then there’s also the fact that the former Iowa star hasn’t disclosed her size either, but a good guess is that she is up around size 9 or 10.

In all, it would be fair to say that Caitlin Clark’s physical attributes contribute to her success, however, it’s her passion and talent that truly set her apart. Now off and running in the WNBA, we can only wait and watch as the league’s newest star continues her journey, one that basketball fans around the world have become captivated by. Clark will make her full WNBA debut against the Atlanta Dream on Tuesday night.
