Kawhi Leonard helps Clippers take control against Denver
The Los Angeles Clippers moved into a 2-1 lead after overwhelming the Nuggets at the Intuit Dome.

Kawhi Leonard was the star turn for the LA Clippers as he bagged 21 points, 11 rebounds and six assists helping his team to secure a 2-1 series lead with a convincing 117-83 victory over the Denver Nuggets on Thursday night at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood.
James Harden helped the home team with 20 points (all coming in the first half) along with nine assists and six rebounds with Norman Powell and Ivica Zubac helping the cause with 20 and 19 points respectively to put the Los Angeles team in a commanding lead with Game 4 coming up in Inglewood on Saturday night in this best-of-seven, first-round series.
Denver struggled on the night and despite the best efforts of Nikola Jokic who recorded 23 points, 13 rebounds and 13 assists for his 20th career postseason triple-double and Jamal Murray who also scored 23 points, the Nuggets never got a look in on Thursday night and were outclassed from the outset.
Denver only managed 13 points in the final quarter with the Clippers ending the game with a 14-1 burst to make the final score even more comprehensive.
