Luka Dončić suffered a right knee contusion during Saturday’s EuroBasket exhibition game between Slovenia and Latvia. After colliding with a teammate, Dončić immediately grabbed his knee before walking off the court under his own power and heading to the locker room.
According to the Slovenian Basketball Federation, the Los Angeles Lakers star is expected to return to practice on Monday, easing concerns about the severity of the injury.
Dončić has committed to representing Slovenia in EuroBasket, scheduled for August 27 to September 14.
