Update:

LeBron James, after what felt like an eternal wait, finally revealed to fans exactly what his mysterious ‘Second Decision’ video was all about.

On October 7, LeBron posted a cryptic video on social media that showed him sitting down on a chair in the middle of a basketball court, in front of another man.

The caption simply read: “The decision of all decisions. October 7th. 12pm EST.”

No other information was given. The internet, as you might have expected, went into meltdown.

Rumours of retirement flooded the sports sites, along with some slightly more eccentric, but not — ahem — implausible theories, such as Amazon deals and Taco day specials.

And then, out of nowhere, like a Randy Orton RKO but a thousand times more unpleasant, Hennessy dropped the second half to the video. The cognac brand posted their deal with the NBA legend, and the internet exploded once again.

It’s fair to say fans weren’t happy they were duped...
