Living in the shadow of a generational talent must be tough, but Ace Flagg is making a name for himself in his own right.

The twin brother of Cooper Flagg - the highly touted prospect projected to go No. 1 overall to the Dallas Mavericks at the upcoming Draft - Ace currently stars at Greensboro Day School in North Carolina.

Looming at 6‑8 and listed at roughly 180–210 lbs, Ace plays primarily at forward.

As for his career path so far, he spent his sophomore and junior years at Montverde Academy in Florida in a program packed to the brim with elite talent, featuring from the bench as they captured the championship.

The three-star prospect in the 2025 recruiting class was actually part of the same class as his brother until Cooper decided to reclassify into the in order to be able to feature for the Blue Devils.

In late 2024, Ace committed to play for Maine Black Bears, a decision that reflected his strong connection to Maine: his mother played there, his grandparents live nearby, and Ace himself helped host a basketball camp in Orono.

The 18-year-old ranks 272nd nationally in 2025 according to data from 247Sports By those same metrics, and he ranks 55th among all power forwards and 20th among prospects in North Carolina.
