NBA 2023 All-Star count: Doncic would start, LeBron leads the table
The NBA has released the first count for the 2023 All-Star game and it includes LeBron, leader of the West, and Durant, leader of the East, as starters.
The 2023 NBA All-Star race is on. After the opening of the vote for fans, the league has released the first count of the possible players. There will be five players for each conference, as usual, and these are:
East: Kevin Durant (Nets), Giannis Antetokounmpo (Bucks) and Joel Embiid (Sixers) in the frontcourt; Kyrie Irving ( Nets) and Donovan Mitchell (Cavaliers) in the backcourt.
West: LeBron James (Lakers), Nikola Jokic (Nuggets), Anthony Davis (Lakers) in the frontcourt; Stephen Curry ( Warriors) and Luka Doncic (Mavericks) in the backcourt.

The captains of the two teams, who are no longer classified by conferences but rather by direct election, would be Durant and James. The Lakers forward, at 38 years of age and with 20 seasons behind him in the NBA, leads the voting table with 3,168,694.
Voting for the composition of the All-Star team will last a month. It began on Dec. 20 and will run until Jan. 21. Votes from fans comprise 50% of the count, media votes make up 25%, and the remaining 25% will be decided by the players themselves.
