NBA ALL-Star Game Team World vs. Stars and Stripes live online: score, highlights and updates

Anthony Edwards was named the MVP of the All-Star Game after posting 13, 11 and 8 in each quarter. He wants to be the best and he showed on Sunday night that he was one of the best players on the court in a night that was full of stars. 

The game was over in the first few minutes, after the Stars went on a big run to take a huge early lead. It wasn´t an indication of how the night went, because in the other three games earlier in the night each of those came down to the wire. The first one went to OT, the second one was won on a buzzer beating three and the third one was decided in the final seconds after Wemby missed a three pointer to tie. It was a fantastic night for the NBA, as fans in LA and all around the world watched the All Star Game reignite passion and interest again. 

You had to know ANT was going to show up in the biggest game full of the brightest stars. He was not about to let someone or some team take his spotlight, and he came up with 8 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists in the final game. 

In his 22nd All Star Game, LeBron James was still putting on a show. He hit this logo three, and had a couple of big dunks, but it wasn´t enough to overcome the NBA´s next generation of stars. 

Tyrese Maxey is one of the up and coming stars of this league, and he brought a spark to Team Stars on a night that surprised a lot of people with the intensity and the defense that was played. Wemby was the one to set the tone, and the rest of the players followed suit. 

Team Stars came out on top in the NBA´s 75th All-Star Game, but it was the league that was the real winner with their new round robin set up between three teams, one of which consisted of the best international players in the NBA. After beating Team World, and losing by a buzzer beater to Team Stripes, it was the Stars that got the revenge in the final game of the night. The youngest team of the night was the freshest down the stretch and came out and took a big lead early on.

WE ARE UNDERWAY IN THE FOURTH AND FINAL GAME BETWEEN TEAM STRIPES AND TEAM STARS. 

With seconds on the clock, the Stripes got it to the hot hand and Kawhi called game with a three ball from the top of the key. 

In his 22nd All Star Game, LeBron is still running the floor and following lay ups for a potential put back. 

Kawahi is in his house, and he put on a show in that game. He scored 13 straight for Stripes. 

KD and Wemby. 14 feet of basketball greatness in one shot. Wemby had another great performance as he set the tone for Team World. He had 19 to lead the World in both games. 

You knew it was Kawhi´s moment when this three ball went in early in Game 3. 

Wemby was open from the top of the key but he missed the three ball!!!

Team Stripes wins it and they are going to the title match!

GAME THREE IS UNDERWAY!!! It´s the Stripes against the World!

The Stars were down for the whole quarter like they where in the first game, but battled back late and took the lead with just seconds to go. The Stripes had the ball last, down by one, and it was DeAaron Fox who won it for Team Stripes. 

Jaylen Brown brought some fireworks to the Intuit Dome. 

Team Stripes came out hot to start the second matchup. LeBron and Kawahi got things going. 

Fox at the buzzer and he drains the three to give Team Stripes the win!!!

ANT with a pick off and he drills a three to give Team Stars the lead with under a minute to go!!

ANT to the rack and he finger rolls it in.

Scottie Barnes ended it in overtime, and have a look at Wemby and how mad he was when the World lost. 

ANT tied the game up with seconds left and sent the game to OT. 

Wemby brought the defense, the energy and the passion to the first game. He had 14, 6 and 3 blocks in the first game. 

The Youngsters were showing out with some displays of athleticism. Jalen Johnson went airborn with the one handed jam. 

KAT came off the bench and had a couple of threes to set Team World on a 14-2 run. 

Team Stars had to try and battle back after a hot start and they were steered by ANT Man who had 13 in the opening game. 

Team World  came out hot thanks to Wemby who set the tone. He came to play and he came to win. 

BARNES DROPS THE THREE BALL FROM THE WING TO WIN IT!!!!

KAT with a three ball from deep again, and the World is on a 14-2 run mid way through this first matchup. 

Sengun finds Siakam down low for the easy lay up.

We are at the first time out of the game, and Wemby already has 7 points, 3 rebounds and two blocks less than five minutes into this game. 

Maxey lays it up and it was blocked but a goal tending is called.

Doncic was cherry picking and got an open lay up.

This has a little bit of a different feel to it. Just listen to what ANT Man had to say about the World Team. 

As always, these games have very little defense, so keeping up with a bucket by bucket, but we will do our best. 

The players are being introduced on the court here from the Intuit Dome with the NBC Soundtrack Roundball Rock by John Tesh. 

He may be injured but Steph Curry is a walking, talking highlight reel. He hit this one from NBC´s courtside studio for the pre, half and post game show. 

There is some big star power missing from the teams tonight. Steph is in the building but his injury is going to keep him out. These are the stars that are out, and their replacements. 

Giannis Antetokounmpo (Milwaukee Bucks): Out with an injury. Replaced by DeAaron Fox. 

Stephen Curry (Golden State Warriors), replaced by Brandon Ingram

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (OKC Thunder) replaced by Alperin Sengun

The World will be taking on the Stars team, represented by the young stars of the NBA. Guys like Cade Cunningham and Tyrese Maxey will be featured tonight, as they try to knock off Jokic, Doncic and Wemby. 

The round robin tournament will feature three teams. They will all play each other in a 12 minute quarter. That will determine who plays in the final matchup. The first match starts in less than a half hour. It´s the Stars team taking on the World Team. 

Having these two on a team together doesn´t seem fair. Two of the best big men in the world, and two of the best players in the world in the same front court. Wemby is going to bring it. You could see that last year in the ASG. Jokic, you never know. 

How many more All-Star Games will we see with these two who have carried the league for a generation. They are in the twilight of their careers but they are still the best of the best in the NBA. 

It´s a new look game, with three teams that will be going head to head, until the best team is left standing at the end of the round robin. On one team, you have the young guns. On another, the legends of the game. And on the World team you have the best of the best of players that were born outside the U.S. 

It´s the NBA All-Star Game from Inglewood, California as the best players in the world are set for a new look round robin tournament, in hopes to give this event a little more flare than in years past. It´s the best players from the U.S. taking on the best players from around the world in showdown from the Intuit Dome.
