NBA Playoff Semi-Finals 2022: qualified teams, bracket, games and schedule
Following the Grizzlies’ series win over the Timberwolves, the line-up for the 2022 NBA Playoffs Conference Semi-Finals has now been confirmed.
The line-up for the 2022 NBA Playoffs Conference Semi-Finals is now set, after the Memphis Grizzlies’ 114-106 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves earned them a 4-2 series victory on Friday.
No First-Round shocks in 2022 NBA Playoffs
The Grizzlies’ triumph over the Timberwolves followed First-Round series wins for the Phoenix Suns, the Dallas Mavericks and the Golden State Warriors elsewhere in the Western Conference.
In the East, meanwhile, it was the Miami Heat, the Philadelphia 76ers, the Boston Celtics and defending champions the Milwaukee Bucks who made it through to the Semi-Finals.
In the end, none of the eight First-Round series went to Game 7 - and, going by the regular season standings, there were no surprises. In each conference, the semi-finalists are the top four regular-season teams.
On Sunday, the Conference Semi-Finals get underway with two games: the Celtics go to the Bucks in the East, and the Warriors host the Grizzlies in the West.
