Seth to team up with Steph?

Seth Curry, 34, has been tipped to join his sibling at the Warriors next season, as Golden State prepares its bid to claim the NBA championship for the first time since 2019.

ESPN’s Anthony Slater says there is "mutual interest" between Seth Curry and the Warriors, who are said to be targeting the guard as a “needed bench shooter”.

Slater adds that Golden State is also considering bringing back guard De’Anthony Melton, who appeared in six games for the Californians last season, as a backup player.

The Warriors are additionally said to be targeting Al Horford, a 2024 championship winner with the Boston Celtics, although the center is considering retirement.

In the 2025 NBA Draft, Golden State recruited small forward Alex Toohey and shooting guard Will Richard.

Who is Seth Curry?

A player who went undrafted after a college career spent with Liberty and Duke, Seth Curry has played for several teams in the NBA since he was signed by the Memphis Grizzlies in December 2013.

Aside from the Grizzlies, the NBA franchises on his resumé include the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Phoenix Suns, the Sacramento Kings, the Dallas Mavericks, the Portland Trail Blazers, the Philadelphia 76ers and the Brooklyn Nets.

And most recently, the North Carolina native played 68 games for the Charlotte Hornets in 2024-25, averaging 6.5 points, 1.7 rebounds and 0.9 assists, shooting an impressive 45.6% from three-point range.

“G.O.T.E.” podcast host

Off the court, the veteran has become one of many NBA players to launch their own podcast.

Alongside sports journalist Travonne Edwards, Seth Curry hosts “The Greatest of Their Era” - a basketball show that is “part debate, part untold stories”. The podcast says it aims to “really define” who the outstanding talents were at each juncture of basketball history.

The show’s official synopsis reads: “We recontextualize the age-old GOAT debate by breaking down who is the greatest of their era in all the categories that you care about, like: clutch shooter, lockdown defender, and one-on-one scorer.”

A podcast that premiered in February this year, “The Greatest of Their Era” is among a slate of productions backed by Unanimous Media, a multimedia company that co-founded by Stephen Curry in 2018.

Taking to social media this week, Stephen Curry said of the podcast: “New episodes every Thursday. Y’all don’t want to miss this one, proud of you brother!
