“That’s my 4th child” - LeBron’s Will Anderson Jr. joke steals show after Lakers clinch series
As the Los Angeles Lakers clinched their first-round series against the Houston Rockets, LeBron James hat a courtside interaction with an NFL star.

A brief courtside interaction turned into a viral moment after LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers closed out their first-round playoff series against the Houston Rockets.
Following the Lakers’ 98–78 Game 6 win, which eliminated Houston, James was asked about a moment during the game involving Will Anderson Jr., the Houston Texans’ star defensive end who was seated courtside.
“Me and Savannah kept it quiet”
During the game, James had fallen to the floor after a blocked shot attempt near the baseline, just steps away from where Anderson was sitting. The Texans standout got up and extended a hand, helping James up before the two shared a quick exchange and embrace. It was a small moment, but one that quickly took on a life of its own afterward.

“The moment was pretty cool,” James said. “I just said it was good to see him. That’s my fourth child.”
James then leaned into a viral internet joke comparing Anderson’s appearance to that of his son, Bronny.
“Him and Bronny are twins and don’t nobody know it,” he added. “Me and Savannah have been trying to keep it under wraps for a long time.”

The comment, clearly made in jest, quickly spread across social media, fueled by the long-running meme about the resemblance between Anderson and Bronny James. James made sure to clarify the humor behind the moment.
“But nah, no disrespect to his real parents,” he said.
Anderson, one of the NFL’s fastest-rising defensive players, has become a prominent figure in Houston sports and was in attendance supporting the Rockets in their playoff push. He later shared the moment on social media, calling James “a freaking legend”, while the video captured both players smiling and embracing courtside. James returned the respect postgame.
“Unbelievable football player, deserving of everything that he’s got,” he said. “And it was definitely dope to see him.”
The lighthearted exchange came after a dominant performance by the Lakers, who closed out the series in convincing fashion to advance to the next round. And even after two decades in the league, LeBron James still knows exactly how to own the moment, on and off the court.
