Estados Unidos Update:

The Golden State Warriors are still chasing their dream of advancing in the 2025 NBA playoffs and are determined to rediscover their best form against the Minnesota Timberwolves, even as they cope with the major setback of being without their cornerstone: Stephen Curry.

The Dubs know they have to force a Game 6, scheduled for Sunday, May 18 at Chase Center – which is when the ‘Chef’ is expected to rejoin the Warriors’ lineup.

Curry sustained a grade 1 strain in his left hamstring during Game 1 of the Western Conference semifinals. His potential return in Game 6 is being closely monitored by the Timberwolves.

Payton and Edwards share a laugh over Curry’s return

During Game 3 – which the Warriors lost 102-97 – Gary Payton II was mic’d up. In a courtside exchange, he shared a moment with Anthony Edwards.

“They’re trying to get to Game 6 and bring back Wardell,” Edwards told Payton, referring to Curry by his first name.

“That’s the plan,” Payton replied, laughing.

With the series at 2-1, the Warriors must win at least one game without Curry to keep their playoff hopes alive.
