Watch: Giannis clashes with Tyrese Haliburton’s dad after Bucks’ playoff exit

Giannis Antetokounmpo cut a frustrated figure on Tuesday night, his playoff dreams over despite another stellar performance from the Milwaukee Bucks star.

The 30-year-old put up 30 points, 20 rebounds and 13 assists but suffered an agonising overtime loss to the Indiana Pacers. He has been rumoured to depart Milwaukee after the culmination of the NBA season and this may have been his final outing in a Bucks jersey.

It ended in chaotic scenes at Gainbridge Fieldhouse as the players had to be separated on the court. Giannis was seen squaring up to a man in a Tyrese Haliburton jersey, believed to be the Pacers star’s father.

The Bucks looked to have pulled off a shock road victory to keep the series alive when they took a commanding three-score lead late in overtime. However the Pacers scored eight points without reply to clinch a dramatic 118-119 win.

It’s still unclear if Giannis will be with the Bucks again next season. He has just completed his 12th season in Milwaukee, during which time he has be named NBA Most Valuable Player twice and delivered the Bucks their first championship in 50 years. The image of him squaring up with Tyrese Haliburton’s dad could be the last of him in a Bucks uniform.
