The Utah Jazz have been shaking up their roster, and it looks like they’re on a serious campaign to rebuild the team. Barely two weeks ago, they traded star center Rudy Gobert to the Minnesota Timberwolves for quite a haul, and now they are reportedly entertaining offers for All-Star shooting guard Donovan Mitchell.

The Jazz are likely to expect an exchange much like that of Gobert’s, where they acquired a number of draft picks and players. Here are some of the teams that could be a good fit for the 25-year-old.

New York Knicks

According to Tony Jones of the Athletic, the Knicks are interested and may be willing to make an offer soon. “Expect the New York Knicks to quickly try and put together a package for Donovan Mitchell,” he wrote.

“Utah’s bar for trading Mitchell is sky high. But the Knicks are the team that has the assets to make this a conversation.”

Miami Heat

The Heat meanwhile appear to be ready to throw their hat in the ring too, according to Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel.

“Spoke to a Western Conference scout today here in Vegas about Donovan Mitchell. He said he has heard Heat have made interest clear. The long-time scout said he would move Herro in such a deal,” per Winderman.

Toronto Raptors

There have been rumors that Toronto was interested in acquiring Kevin Durant, but that has not materialized thus far, as it appears the Raptors are not willing to part with their rising star 20-year-old Scottie Barnes in exchange for the veteran.

Perhaps they would be more willing to trade a player whom they expect to become a star in the future, for a young player who has already made a name for himself.

Brooklyn Nets

There has still been no concrete movement on the Durant trade, but if it does push through the Nets are likely to obtain some picks and players, and the same is bound to happen if they end up trading out Kyrie Irving and Ben Simmons.

If these trades do materialize, the Nets may have enough players on their plate to offer the Jazz in exchange for Mitchell. Brooklyn can then start over fresh with a new roster that can be built around the three-time NBA All-Star.
