Update:

Milwaukee Bucks host the New York Knicks on Friday night at the Fiserv Forum. The Bucks go into the game after their 127-117 defeat to the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday when they were forced to play without two key players with Giannis Antetokounmpo (foot) and Damian Lillard (calf) absent.

Both absentees provide a major setback for the Bucks with Antetokounmpo top scorer for the team with 30.2 points and 12.0 rebounds per game. Lillard too averages 24.9 points, 7.1 assists and 1.2 steals with the former Portland player set to be sidelined for some time with deep vein thrombosis.

Milwaukee’s Jericho Sims (thumb) and Bobby Portis (suspension) also will be missing on Friday for the home side as they welcome third placed Knicks who go into the game on the back of winning four in a row against Milwaukee.

Giannis return?

There is a sliver of hope for Bucks fans with the injury status relating to the Greek international changing from ‘out’ as was the case on Wednesday to ‘questionable’, so there is a possibility that the power forward may make an appearance on Friday night.
