When will Jaime Jáquez Jr. and the Miami Heat play in the NBA playoffs? Calendar and schedules...
The Heat entered the NBA playoffs as the 8-seed in the Eastern Conference, so they will have to face the best reference of the year: the Boston Celtics!
The NBA Eastern Conference playoff bracket has been finalized and the Miami Heat have secured the final post-season spot after defeating the Chicago Bulls 112-91 in the Play-In game. The Heat had previously lost to the Philadelphia 76ers in the game between the seventh and eighth seeds, while the Bulls had beaten the Atlanta Hawks in the game between the ninth and tenth seeds.
Miami, who will occupy the eighth seed, will face the Boston Celtics in the first round of the playoffs. This is a rematch of the Conference finals in 2023, which went to seven games after the Heat initially took a 3-0 lead. In that series, the Celtics almost pulled off an incredible comeback, but Jimmy Butler’s impressive performance (scoring 28 points) secured the win for the Heat. Now, the Celtics will have a chance to seek revenge.
One of the protagonists in the expected first-round elimination match in the Eastern Conference will be Mexican basketball player Jaime Jáquez Jr. He will become the fifth Mexican player to participate in the NBA playoffs, following Eduardo Nájera, Gustavo Ayón, Juan Toscano-Anderson, and Jorge Gutiérrez. Jáquez Jr. has had a remarkable rookie season and plays an important role in Erik Spoelstra’s rotation.
