Where and when is the New York block party to watch the Knicks in game 1 against the Pacers outside MSG?
Knicks fans are dreaming of glory this year with the last time the NBA Championship went to the Big Apple being 1973.

52 years is a long time for a major city like New York to suffer a sporting drought. But that’s exactly what Knicks fans have had to endure with more than half a decade in the wilderness.
There have been some false dawns with the team ending up as runners-up in 1994 and 1999 but on those occasions, Houston and San Antonio had other ideas.
Fast forward to 2025 and opportunity comes knocking once again as finals fever sweeps the Big Apple and drags along a generation of fans who have known nothing but disappointment and misery in their support for the Knicks.

Ticket prices through the roof
With New York chasing their first NBA Championship of the decade, demand to see the games against the Pacers in the Eastern Conference finals has skyrocketed.
With secondary ticket agencies selling tickets with the lowest prices starting at $750, fans are looking at alternatives to enjoy the action.
A free block party zone outside the arena has become the focal point for ticketless Knicks and swells with fans hours before the games.

The area serves as a focal point from where supporters can gather after the games and celebrate Knicks’ wins with enthusiastic fans involved in celebrations that span several city blocks.
The next Knicks block party will commence prior to Game 1 against Indiana outside Madison Square Garden.
