The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame has released the list of eligible candidates for the Class of 2023. They will announce the finalists during the NBA All-Star weekend in February.

Among the notable names are first-time nominees Dwyane Wade, Miami Heat legend who won three NBA championships; Pau Gasol, one of the best power forwards in league history; and Dirk Nowitzki, considered by many to be the greatest international player to ever play in the NBA.

The process to choose Hall of Famers has three parts, the first of which is the announcement of eligible candidates. After that, the list is whittled down to the finalists, and this will be revealed on Feb. 17 during the NBA All-Star Weekend that will be held in Salt Lake City in Utah.

Those who make the final cut and make it to the Class of 2023 will be revealed on April 1 during the NCAA Final Four Weekend in Houston, Texas,
