With Chris Paul back in the ranks, this is how the Clippers starting five could look for next season
The LA Clippers continue to add players to their roster having acquired Bradley Beal, John Collins, Brook Lopez, and Chris Paul.
With the 2025-26 NBA season looming ever closer, the Los Angeles Clippers continue to make roster adjustments to prepare for the season ahead being one of the most active teams in this NBA transfer window.
The LA franchise finished last season with a 50-32 record, which allowed them to close out the regular season in fifth place in the Western Conference; but in the playoffs, they were eliminated by the Denver Nuggets in the first round, after extending the series to the seventh game.
Chris Paul returns to the Clippers
Veteran star player Chris Paul was with the franchise from 2011 to 2017, and it has now been revealed that he will be back with the team with the 12-time All-Star agreed to a one-year contract for $3.6 million.
Last season, CP3 averaged 8.8 points, 7.4 assists, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.3 steals with the San Antonio Spurs. This is set to be his final season in the NBA, the 21st of his career.
The Clippers also had the addition of guard Bradley Beal, after he agreed to a termination of his contract with the Phoenix Suns and signed a two-year contract with the California based franchise for 11 million with a player option.
The Clippers have also added power forward John Collins, following a triple trade involving the Clippers, the Utah Jazz (receiving Kevin Love, Kyle Anderson and a 2027 second-round pick from the Clippers) and the Miami Heat (receiving Norman Powell).
They also added center Brook Lopez, on a two-year contract for $18 million, after his time with the Milwaukee Bucks.
