79,000 plus fans are expected at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Monday as Ohio State face Notre Dame in the 2025 College Football National Championship final.

Neither team were tipped ahead of the championship as the eighth-seeded Buckeyes, who bagged the Cotton Bowl with a 28-14 victory over Texas face No.7 seeds the Fighting Irish who won, in a tighter contest, beating Penn State 28-24 in the Orange Bowl staged in Florida.

Ahead of the clash on Monday, NCAA football experts are tipping Ohio State to have too much for the Irish.

Both colleges are football hotbeds with a series of players moving on to establish successful careers with NFL teams with Joe Montana formerly of Notre Dame arguably the most high profile.
