The Horned Frogs head into the New Mexico Bowl, known for sponsorship reasons as the Isleta New Mexico Bowl, with an 8-4 record in 2024 (6-3 in the Big 12 Conference). Now in their third season under Sonny Dykes, TCU are on a three-game winning sequence, having seen off the Oklahoma State Cowboys, the Arizona Wildcats and the Cincinnati Bearcats in their final games of the regular season.
