Women’s March Madness bracket revealed: UCLA gets No. 1 overall seed

The 2025 NCAA basketball tournament officially kicked off with Selection Sunday today and the women’s college basketball bracket has been revealed! The UCLA Bruins earned the No. 1 overall seed in the tournament and will face the winner of the UC San Diego vs Southern in the First Four.

68 teams were given entry to the March Madness tournament with 31 automatic bids and 37 at-large bids selected by the committee. The First Four begins Wednesday, March 19 and the First Round begins Friday, March 21.
