If Wednesday's game at San Mamés ended 1-0, Thursday's clash at the Reale Arena ended 2-1.

A clash between Athletic and Granada in LaLiga staged at San Mamés at this time of the year would have passed off inadvertently as just another game.

Mirandés have done it again! After knocking out Celta and Sevilla, their latest scalp was Villarreal last night, eliminating the top-flight side to march into the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey.

I saw her whilst watching the first league game of the new season at San Mamés. During the interval Athletic Club's women's team were paraded and received a warm ovation from the crowd.
