With the second round of the Draft in the bag, we saw some slips. None the less we’re beginning to get a clearer picture of how teams are reinforcing.

The 2023 NFL Draft is in full swing and with that we’ve seen our fair share of surprises. From those who traded up, to those who traded down and of course, what happened with Will Levis? Regardless, here’s the breakdown of who went where on the second day of the Draft.

Levis & Porter slip but the NFL Draft rolls on

Ok, let’s talk about the elephant in the room. Why did Will Levis drop so far down on the board? To be precise, Levis’ name wasn’t called on the first day of the Draft after rumored - in some quarters - to be a potential No. 1 pick. No, instead he was selected on the second day of the Draft at No. 33 overall by the Tennessee Titans. So, what went wrong? On one hand, we’ve got a player who has both the size and arm strength that NFL teams love so much. On the other, we’ve got a player who’s not the most accurate. In truth, despite the hype Levis was never going to be selected at No. 1, but it’s got to be said his final position was unexpected.

At any rate, he isn’t the first quarterback to slip in the Draft, nor will he be the last and if we’re honest, some of the most legendary signal callers have experienced a similar start to life in the NFL. Just look at Aaron Rodgers for example. Regardless, it wasn’t all about Levis on Friday. We also saw Joey Porter Jr. heading to the Steelers with the No. 32 overall pick. Many expected the corner back to be higher in the Draft as well, but c’est la vie. With no further delays, here’s you’re recap of all of the picks from second round of the 2023 NFL Draft:
