Adam Schefter rips Aaron Rodgers' attitude in free agency: “It’s not that hard, make a decision and live with it”
After leaving the New York Jets, the 41-year-old is now a free agent for the first time in his career.

What next for Aaron Rodgers? The 41-year-old finds himself in free agency for the first time in his stellar NFL career and he’s yet to pick a landing spot.
Since officially leaving the New York Jets, the four-time NFL Most Valuable player has reportedly been pursued by the New York Giants, Minnesota Vikings and the Pittsburgh Steelers. However he’s yet to be swayed by any of those projects and hasn’t even confirmed that he will definitely play again in 2025.
The matter of Rodgers' future is one of the main storylines of this NFL offseason and the uncertainty is proving too much for some. NFL Insider Adam Schefter has clearly had enough of the waiting game and launched into a bizarre tirade during an appearance on the Jen, Gabe & Chewy show this week.
“To me this shouldn’t be that hard,” Schefter said. “The Steelers want you. The Giants want you. We’re seeing players across the league make decisions. It shouldn’t be that hard.”
“Either you want to play or you don’t. You want to play for Pittsburgh or you don’t. You want to play in New York or you don’t. Are you going to make a decision or are you going to drag it out for four days, five days, a week? It’s not that hard. Make that decision and live with it.”
Things were not improved by a photo of Rodgers that emerged on Wednesday, showing him strolling across a beach while wrapped in a towel. In the photo Rodgers is wearing headphones and a backwards cap and appears to be in a state of deep contemplation as the rumours around his future swirl. Alternatively, he could just be talking a walk along a beach.
Either way, Rodgers' decision could be the key to a number of potential deals in the offing in the NFL. Once he has decided his next team Russell Wilson may find that his options open up, having failed to find agreement with the Cleveland Browns this week. The Giants have already met with veteran Joe Flacco and he may find himself in demand if Rodgers opts against another season in New York.
