An era comes to an end! Brandon Graham announces his retirement after 15 seasons with the Eagles
The Philadelphia Eagles have seen few key pieces of their Super Bowl team leave this offseason, and on Tuesday a legend said farewell forever.

A fan favorite in Philly is hanging it up and what a final flight it was for Brandon Graham. The legendary Eagles player will go down in the history books of the City of Brotherly Love just like Rocky or the Fresh Prince of Bel Air.
Ending on a high note
After 15 years, Brandon Graham officially called it a career and he did so playing a part in bringing the city he has called home for a decade and a half a second Super Bowl in the final game of his career.
It’s only fitting that Graham retires on top after being the heart and soul of a defense that has represented it’s city so well for so long. Philly is a tough, hard nose, no B.S. kind of place, and Graham embodied that attitude on the field in the good times and the bad. “Through the struggles, the injuries and moments, I had to prove myself again. You never let me get comfortable. You held me accountable. You kept that chip on my shoulder. You pushed me to be better and when the time came, we celebrated together, two times,” said Graham.

Graham was there for the first of Philly’s two Super Bowls back in 2018 when the Eagles took down Tom Brady and the New England Patriots in SB LII. Philly’s No. 55 had 2 tackles in that game, one of those being a game sealing strip sack on Tom Brady late in the fourth quarter.
“Love for team and city will never fade”
This year, he was just happy to be on the field and afforded the chance to play in another game. Graham tore his tricep tendon in Week 12, and was basically ruled out for the season. Philly’s Super Bowl run extended the season and allowed their legendary linebacker to play in one more game. He was activated just days before Super Sunday, played a handful of snaps and registered a tackle as the Eagles blew out the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22.
“This game has changed my life, but more importantly this city has changed my life. It has given me a purpose far beyond football. It has shown me what it means to be a leader, a friend, a man of faith and integrity. While my time on the field is coming to an end, my love for this team and city will never fade. Philadelphia and everybody from the bottom of my heart, I just want to thank ya’ll. E-A-G-L-E-S. Eagles! Fly, Eagles Fly. BG out, baby!”
