Christian McCaffrey won’t take another official snap until September, but he’s already likely notched his biggest win of the season. The San Francisco 49ers’ All-Pro running back and wife Olivia Culpo welcomed their first child, sharing the news in a joint Instagram post Sunday.
What is Christian McCaffrey’s child called?
The post, a black-and-white collage, took us inside the delivery room and featured touching moments of the couple each holding their newborn daughter. The caption read simply her name: “Colette Annalise McCaffrey.”
Culpo followed with a series of Instagram stories that tugged on heartstrings. One showed McCaffrey holding Colette with the caption: “Colette is so lucky to have the best daddy in the world. A love like no other.” Another image caught him comforting his wife during labor, with her writing: “The scariest and most rewarding of all experiences. As soon as he came into the room I felt most at peace.”
The couple, who tied the knot just last month, announced the pregnancy back in March. Now, they’re settling into life as a family of three - just in time for McCaffrey’s offseason recovery to come full circle. We’ll have to wait and see what his first touchdown celebration will be: sucking thumb, rocking the arms etc. Your guess is as good as mine.
