With that said, both teams are coming into this game after losing. Atlanta lost to the Chargers last Sunday, while Carolina went down to the Bengals. Interestingly reports indicate that the Panthers are set to start quarterback P.J. Walker once more, after benching him at halftime in Week 9.

With one of the best rushing attacks in the league, Atlanta can be a handful on the ground. Led by the duo of Tyler Allgeier and Cordarrelle Patterson, the Falcons average 162.9 rushing yards per game, which is ranked fourth in the league in case you’re wondering. Adding to their chances, is the fact that the Panthers will be facing an Atlanta defense that is struggling. To be clear, the Falcons have given up 300.0 passing yards per game, which is the worst average in the league. In total they’ve allowed 15 passing touchdowns.

Given the narrow margin by which they lost on the road just under two weeks ago, it would be tempting to think that the Panthers could take down the Falcons playing at home. On the other hand, the aforementioned Patterson is a serious problem. Add to that, the fact that we don’t know which P.J.
