CeeDee Lamb provides injury update after concussion concerns for Dallas Cowboys
The Cowboys receiver left early after a heavy head blow in the end zone, sparking concern for the coach, players and fans.
CeeDee Lamb sent shockwaves through the stadium at the start of Week 14 after taking a heavy blow to the head while trying to haul in a pass in the end zone during the third quarter. The scene was unsettling – his hands stiffened as he lay on the turf, prompting immediate concern from teammates and medical staff.
It was later confirmed that he would not return. Doctors ruled out a concussion, but the Cowboys removed him from the game as a precaution. Lamb was helped toward the medical tent for evaluation before heading to the locker room, where he was quickly ruled out for the remainder of the afternoon. The Detroit Lions went on to win 44-30.
The next game for the Cowboys is on December 14, when they play the Vikings, so Lamb has a solid break to be fully checked and have additional recovery time.
Lamb gives positive nod
After the game, Nick Harris, reporter for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, saw the receiver coming out of the locker room and says he “asked him if he was good.” A simple nod was the response.
