Cowboys address another offseason need by signing Dolphins offensive lineman
The Dallas Cowboys added another man to protect quarterback Dak Prescott in the upcoming 2025 NFL season.

The NFL’s legal tampering period began on Monday and teams have wasted no time getting started with making some moves. The Dallas Cowboys have already made two.
Cowboys sign former OL Rob Jones
Two of the Cowboys’ biggest needs this offseason are are at the running back position and on the offensive line, both of which they’ve now addressed in free agency, despite Jerry Jones saying the team wouldn’t look to the free agency to “fill voids” on the roster.
Earlier in the day, the Cowboys signed Denver Broncos running back Javonte Williams on a one-year deal.
Now, they’ve signed Miami Dolphins offensive lineman Rob Jones to a one-year deal worth up to $4.75 million. Jones played for the Dolphins from 2021 to 2024. He started all 17 games for the Dolphins last season.
Former Dolphins free-agent offensive lineman Rob Jones reached agreement tonight with the Dallas Cowboys on a one-year deal worth up to $4.75 million. Deal negotiated by Drew Rosenhaus and Shawn O’Dare.
