Estados Unidos Update:

Fresh off the 2025 NFL Draft, the Dallas Cowboys are still on the hunt for offensive firepower to support quarterback Dak Prescott. According to multiple reports, the Cowboys inquired about Steelers wide receiver George Pickens during the draft held in Green Bay, testing the waters for a potential trade.

Pickens enters final year of rookie deal

George Pickens, who’s entering the final year of his rookie contract, now faces competition from DK Metcalf, recently acquired by Pittsburgh from the Seahawks. While no deal materialized during the draft, the Steelers reportedly received multiple calls about the 23-year-old receiver.

Last season, Pickens posted 59 receptions for 900 yards and 3 touchdowns in 14 games. Pittsburgh’s playoff run ended in the AFC Wild Card round with a 28-14 loss to the Baltimore Ravens on January 11.

Cowboys still seeking WR depth behind CeeDee Lamb

Dallas remains in the market for a proven receiver to complement CeeDee Lamb, their standout WR1. Rumors also link the team to a potential reunion with Amari Cooper. Notably, the Cowboys didn’t select a wideout in the 2025 NFL Draft but did add Traeshon Holden (Oregon) and Josh Kelly (Texas Tech) as undrafted free agents.
