Damar Hamlin is still in hospital as he recovers from a cardiac arrest during the Bills games against the Bengals last weekend. The Buffalo safety had his heart restarted twice on field with a defibrillator and was rushed to hospital.
He is making a strong recovery and has started posting on social media to thank everyone for their support, love and prayers, but tonight his focus is on just one thing: Buffalo’s match against the New England Patriots.
He posted a photo on Twitter ahead of the game showing him ready for the match:
And then just eight minutes later, seconds after the game had started he reacted to the amazing kick-off return touchdown from Nyheim Hines which saw the Bills race into a lead just 14 seconds into the match when he ran in a 96-yard TD.
OMFG indeed. It really was quite the moment, and everyone watching knew the Bills were putting it all out there for their man Hamlin.
