The NFL announced the star as the main attraction for the ultimate pregame party ahead of Super Bowl LVIII.

Gwen Stefani has been revealed to be the act set to perform at the NFL TikTok tailgate ahead of the Super Bowl on Sunday (Sunday 11 February 2024, with kick-off at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT.).

The official announcement, posted on the TikTok website, said “for the fourth year in partnership with TikTok, fans watching across the world can tune in on @NFL on TikTok for hours of live programming featuring a live musical performance from Gwen Stefani, NFL special guests and TikTok creators”.

“We all know how massive of an event Super Bowl is, and I am so honored I get to be a part of it and perform at the Super Bowl TikTok Tailgate. Can’t wait to see you all in Vegas!” said Gwen Stefani.

What is the NFL TikTok Tailgate party?

The Super Bowl LVIII TikTok Tailgate started back at Super Bowl LIV, and allowed virtual fans into Super Bowl celebrations with Miley Cyrus during the pandemic. The event was a huge success as the world was in lockdown, and it has grown into a bona-fide celebration ahead of kick-off. Past headliners include The Chainsmokers, The Black Keys and Jason Derulo.

How can I watch the NFL TikTok Tailgate party?

If you want to watch the event, just tune in on the @NFL account on TikTok to watch several hours of live programming from Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium. As well as NFL special guests, various TikTok creators will also be on show to provide quality entertainment on the night, giving their gameday predictions, team facts and commentary. Rumour has it that Gwen Stefani’s performance, There after a 20-minute preshow, will last around 50 minutes!

As for Gwen herself, she said that her main aim will be to impress her football-mad family: “I am surrounded by boys, and they are football boys, including my husband,” Stefani told People magazine. “And we [have] fantasy football. I mean, every morning they just sit there and talk about football. It’s unbelievable,” she adds. “It’s very big in my house, so it makes me feel very like, ‘Guess what?’ I get to brag to my boys, which is all you want.”
